![]() Bed and Breakfast accommodation near Conwy Castle, North Wales.
For your comfort the house is non-smoking, and pets are not allowed. We are able to cater for special diets such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, wheat-free and coeliac (or celiac) - see more details about special diets catered for below. There are four rooms - three en-suite, and one with a private bathroom. All rooms, including our delightful breakfast room enjoy panoramic views of the medieval walls and towers, the hills of Snowdonia or both. Three of the rooms look out across our gardens. See our rooms page for more information about each bedroom.
The breakfast room and one of the en-suite double bedrooms are situated on the ground floor. Please note that Bryn does have to be accessed by a step on the outside path, a step into the porch and a step into the entrance hall. See our Accessibility Statement for more information. A wide, turning staircase with a large arched feature window takes you to the other two en-suite double rooms and the triple (family) room with a private bathroom.
Breakfast at Bryn is based entirely on the finest, freshest ingredients. I serve organic, fairtrade, homemade or locally sourced products whenever possible and fresh bread is baked each morning. Choice is very important to me, so foods are always cooked to order. Our butcher in Conwy supplies us with their gold award winning breakfast sausages and home cured bacon. Packed lunches can be requested the previous evening (extra charge). Vegetarians and vegans are most welcome with foods cooked separately where necessary. Alison (that's me, the proprietor), has coeliac disease. This means that home made gluten free bread and other breakfast treats such as Welsh cakes and crumpets are always available along with gluten free sausages from our butcher and nibbles in the rooms. Lactose free, wheat free and anything else free diets can usually be accommodated in the same way if you advise me in advance. As with vegetarians, foods are stored, prepared and cooked totally separately. Nut allergy - I make my own muesli containing chopped nuts and use nuts and nut oils regularly in everyday cookery. I am afraid that I could not guarentee a nut free environment.
