  • The house, cottage and garden are there to be enjoyed!
  • If you have any special requirements, dietary or otherwise, please let us know at the time of booking so that we can cater for these. We have a separate statement on Accessibility.
  • The house and cottage are not suited for young children and infants. Children over the age of five are welcome under parental supervision.
  • We do not accept pets. Guide dogs are welcomed.
  • Smoking is not permitted in the guest house or cottage. Considerate smoking is allowed in the garden away from the entrance to the guest house.
  • Travel Insurance is recommended to cover personal effects and to guard against the possibility of cancellation/curtailment of the holiday.
  • Acts of antisocial behaviour cannot be tolerated and any person behaving unreasonably would have to leave.
  • Please be aware that the guest house and cottage are run by a husband and wife team; we must reserve the right to cancel a booking in the event of exceptional circumstances arising.
  • For bookings, please contact us by email or phone. During the main holiday season, we can only accept bookings for two nights or more for the guest house rooms or for three nights or more for the cottage.  Should you need to cancel or rearrange your reservation, please provide as much notice as you reasonably can.
  • Payment is typically upon arrival where we accept cash and credit/debit cards (VISA, VISA Electron, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro and JCB). For larger bookings, we may request payment in advance of arrival by bank transfer.
  • For check-in, we cannot guarantee rooms/cottage will be available before 3pm.  You are welcome to use our carpark and to leave luggage with us if you arrive sooner.  Please let us know if you plan to arrive after 8pm so we don’t worry about you.
  • For check-out, please leave by 10.30am.
  • You are welcome to bring in food and drink to the guest house but, please consume takeaway dinners in the dining room or in the garden rather than the bedroom.
  • EVs can be charged by request with additional payment to cover the electricity
